The Myth of Rahoo and the Lunar Eclipse

Theatrical Puppetry performance "The Myth of Rahoo and the Lunar Eclipse".  Thai oldies said the Lunar Eclipse occurs when the moon is eaten by Rahoo, the arch-demon.
Why?
The tale begins like this.
Rahoo had stolen the drink of Amarit, the elixir of life as to gain immortality. However, the Moon witnessed and reported the news to Phra Narai, a senior God. Rahoo, consequently, was punished. An eternal vengeance of Rahoo to the moon (and as well as the Sun) carries on ever since.

Witness an extraordinary performance of “The Myth of Rahoo and the Lunar Eclipse” guaranteed by the “Best Traditional Performance” award at the tenth World Festival of Puppet Art at Prague in 2006, only at Nattayasala Hun Lakorn Lek (Joe Louis Theater).
